“I’m so sorry I fell down” – Buster Keaton
“The struggle itself toward the heights is enough to fill a man’s heart. ” – Albert Camus from The Myth of Sisyphus
An ambiguous team plays a game in which they have one minute to illustrate statements about performance, teams, relationships, communications, comedy and absurdity. Each team member collected their own statements to draw. The viewer of the video is in a privileged position as they both get a chance to guess what the drawing means and find out the answer the answer. However, it does not amount to much (it is not their struggle after all). Underneath the video, a pile of drawings amass on the floor, proof of accumulation, not of success.
“I always want my audience to out-guess me, and then I double cross them” – Buster Keaton
